Commerce Cloud

What is DOIT CC

A high-level introduction to what this platform is all about.

Danoffice IT Commerce Cloud (DOIT CC) is a platform that connects your business systems directly to Danoffice IT service infrastructure. Instead of managing orders through a web portal, your systems — whether that's ServiceNow, SAP, or a custom integration — communicate with us through a set of APIs and webhooks.

What it does

At its core, Commerce Cloud handles three things:

Order placement — Your system submits an order via the REST API. It validates it, forward it to our sales team, and returns a reference you can use to track everything that follows.

Status updates — As the order moves through fulfilment — received, confirmed, shipped, delivered — we push events to your webhook endpoint in real time. No polling, no portal checks. Only live updates, where you demand it.

Who builds on it

Commerce Cloud is built for IT managers, procurement teams, and developers at organisations that buy IT equipment at scale. The typical integration connects an ITSM platform like ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Freshworks, Atlassian, or an ERP like SAP, Business Central, Visma, etc... to Danoffice IT, removing the manual steps between an approved request and a placed order.

How it is structured

The platform exposes a set of services, each with its own API and webhook events:

  • Orders — Place and track IT procurement orders
  • Events — Receive real-time updates on order status, shipping, and invoicing

Each service is documented independently. You only integrate what you need.

What it is not

Commerce Cloud is not a customer-facing portal. It is an integration layer designed to be called from your own systems. There is no concept of browsing a catalogue through the API — item numbers are agreed with your account manager and configured in your system before integration begins.
